Founded by Mr. Ananda Mitra (a.k.a Rudra) in 2018, in memory of his late father Shri Ashis Mitra to serve the humanity and underprivileged. Aashis Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization which works on non-profit basis. It is registered under Trust Registration Act. 1882 (India) with Registration No: IN-2018-DL879003/762/4333/T legally, targeted at pursuing initiatives to alleviate suffering, advance the needs of the underprivileged, safeguard the environment, offer fundamental social services, and engage in community development with a focus on elevating the underprivileged, the elderly, and those who are terminally sick.

MISSION

By removing social barriers, the Aashis Foundation promotes the social growth and integration of underprivileged individuals, groups, and marginalised communities and catalyses the effectiveness of humanitarian activities.

VISION

In order to restore hope for a better future and end the cycle of poverty and social isolation, our work attempts to do just that. Every individual has the right to access opportunities and resources that will enable them to live in dignity, enhance their quality of life, and support them in making good changes that will enable them to actively participate in and contribute to society.

OBJECTIVES

To undertake implementation of various socio-economic development programs in the field of education, health, rural development etc for the benefit of poor & other deserving sections.

To conserve biodiversity and natural resources at local, National & International regimes & create a healthy earth ecosystem with healthy components in & around our habitat.

To facilitate rehabilitation of people with disabilities through vocational, skill development & to sensitize common people about the condition of people with disabilities.

To raise awareness among women about their rights, development, empowerment, dignity, and self-sufficiency, as well as about child protection & rights.
